4 basic steps to cooking sous vide
1. Vacuum seal food in food-grade plastic pouches (vacuum sealers sold separately).
2. Place the pouch in a water bath that has been brought to the temperature specified in the sous vide recipe.
3. Let the food cook for the specified time, or longer.
4. Remove and serve!
Tip: Before serving, meat dishes can be seared in a hot pan or with a cooking torch, creating a traditional appearance for the exterior surface.
